To the Russian sea with children: tips and secrets

I chose a trusted place

“Verified” means that we had already been there two years ago and knew the area well: where the beach and shops are, how to get to them, what to do and where to go in case of illness. In addition, this place is safe in terms of crime and virus conditions. The Mediterranean climate is quite mild: there is little chance of getting heatstroke. In addition, continental Europe seems to me more predictable in terms of the possibility of catching an unknown disease than, for example, Africa. And you can check how much ultraviolet radiation you will receive anywhere in the world on a special map.

Holidays with children for New Year 2021

Holidays with children for the New Year

And if you decide to take your family out for the winter holidays, where is the best place to go? Holidays with children for the New Year 2021 will probably be most affordable in Turkey; at this time it is very cheap there compared to other seasons. But this does not mean that the quality of your vacation will suffer greatly; now we will tell you about the features of such a trip. The weather at this time of year is mostly sunny and almost without rain, about +20 in the sun. You can fish, read on sun loungers on the beach.

Turkey in winter is not at all the same as in the season - no one bothers with their goods, there is no abundance of tourists and noise. You can visit the wonderful place of Side in a calm atmosphere. This ancient Greek city is very popular with children; thanks to its favorable location, mild climate and interesting historical component, it has long become a target for numerous tourists and vacationers.

In terms of price/quality ratio, Türkiye is an excellent option for the New Year. We advise you to buy tours for the New Year in advance (we wrote a separate article about the advantages of early booking):

About New Year's holidays: In warm countries >> | In Europe >>

Prepared visas in advance

Visas to Croatia are issued at the visa center and usually take 10 working days. The list of required documents should be on the embassy website. To be honest, I didn’t find him there, but the center staff told me everything in detail over the phone. To avoid unnecessary stress, you should apply for a visa two to three months before your trip. The same goes for tickets: you can buy them much cheaper if you do it in advance - at least three to four months in advance.

I thought through my expenses and planned my budget with reserves.

To do this, you should read forums with prices or, as we did, come to a familiar place. Yes, and take some money in reserve - in case everything suddenly becomes more expensive or someone gets sick and has to go to the hospital. No one is immune from such cases: for example, we had to go to a hospital in a neighboring city on our last trip.

In addition, I ordered and paid for four taxis before the start of the trip: from home to the airport, from the airport to the apartments and back the same way - this simple action will save you from worrying about a possible lack of funds or in the event of a lack of Internet and unnecessary expenses while roaming.

Black Sea

The Black Sea coast has long attracted Russian tourists. The most popular resort towns among vacationers are Tuapse, Loo, Kabardinka, Gelendzhik, Sochi, and Anapa. Each of them has its own charms and disadvantages.

Pebble beach in Anapa

According to statistics, in the summer people most often vacation in Anapa with a child. This year-round resort is famous not only for its cozy beaches and gentle warm sea, but also for its developed infrastructure. Anapa has all possible conditions for a family holiday. Equipped squares, parks, playgrounds, modern attractions and entertainment centers attract a large number of vacationers from Russia and other countries to this resort town.

In the summer season, prices for holidays with children in Anapa remain quite reasonable, thanks to which many vacationers will be able to spend an unforgettable vacation at the resorts of the Black Sea coast. Here you can easily choose the best hotel, which will create all the conditions for the recreation of little tourists, from a special children's menu to the services of experienced teachers. The beach offers various sports games and water attractions.

Anapa water parks are extremely popular, where you can have a wonderful time with the whole family.

Family holiday home on the Black Sea coast

Thus, the advantages of this resort include:

  • shallow warm sea with a flat bottom;
  • sandy beaches;
  • developed infrastructure for children's entertainment;
  • convenient transport links with other cities (Anapa has an airport and a railway station);
  • reasonable housing prices.

Sochi is a great place for a family holiday.
But it should also be said about some of the shortcomings of this resort town. From mid-summer, the water in the sea begins to bloom and becomes cloudy.

I took everything I needed

On a trip with children, you need to pack not only a suitcase with clothes, but also think about entertainment for different ages and leisure for yourself, if you suddenly manage not to fall asleep during quiet hours or immediately after the children's curfew.

I took a few things, but it turned out that even less was possible. The children and I had one medium-sized suitcase and a backpack. I took two dresses for myself, one of which was for the beach, shorts and a skirt, three tops, two swimsuits and underwear, and for shoes - Crocs flip-flops and sandals that were in my suitcase. For my daughter - shorts, two skirts, three T-shirts and two sundresses, for shoes - also sandals and beach slippers. For my son, five summer bodysuits and overalls. We were coming from cooler weather, so we had warmer clothes on - we didn't have to pack them.

For the beach in Moscow or locally, you will need to buy water shoes - they are much more convenient for going into the sea along a pebble beach without the risk of getting hurt on the stones.

I’ll say something about the stroller. It should be comfortable and light, it must have a sleeping place for the youngest, a spacious basket for groceries and the ability to transport the elder. To be honest, I know of only one stroller that can handle these tasks 100%: the Bumbleride Indie.

I bought the toys in a Moscow online store and brought them with me. It was the right decision: I didn’t waste time on shopping, I bought only what I needed and cheaper than at the vacation spot. I ended up with two groups of entertainment: for the beach and for the home. For my daughter, I took water pistols, armbands, paints and a brush for pebbles, and stickers with eyes. We pierced the circle on the second day, but didn’t buy a new one. My son only needed a boat and fruit on the beach. For games at home, we took our favorite plush cat, children's dishes, books, coloring books, pencils and markers.

Holidays with small children at sea abroad. Choice.

Which countries are considered the most suitable for holidays with children? Let's look at the most popular options among families traveling with children.

Türkiye

at sea with a baby: 7 countries for a great holiday photo 2

This sunny country has long become one of the most popular resorts among our compatriots for families with children.

A short flight, a simplified visa system, a developed hotel infrastructure, the availability of family-type hotels, good beaches - all these factors often become key when deciding in favor of a holiday in Turkey.

  • Family-friendly resorts in Turkey

Well, everyone’s favorite “all inclusive” concept, which most Turkish hotels can boast of, is perfect for families with children. Parents will always be able to choose a suitable dish for their child, feed and drink him upon request, without leaving the hotel.

Another advantage of a holiday in Turkey is the entertainment program. Almost every decent hotel offers a rich program for young guests, including a mini-disco, games and competitions with animators, activities in a mini-club and children's playgrounds, and showing cartoons.

The most suitable period for a holiday with kids in Turkey is May-June or September.

Among the best destinations for families with children in Turkey are Side, Belek, Antalya, Kemer with its surrounding villages, and Kusadasi.

Greece

at sea with a baby: 7 countries for a great holiday photo 3

This is a great option for your baby's first trip to the sea. The prevailing climate here is moderate and comfortable for small children, there is a clear sea with sandy and pebble beaches (the beaches of Greece are awarded the Blue Flag year after year - an insignia of the European Community for the cleanliness of the coast and sea), and a beautiful green area.

Even in the hottest months, the local climate (especially on the islands) will be easier for the child to tolerate due to the low humidity and abundance of greenery.

All products and dishes in the hotel restaurants and local taverns are environmentally friendly and healthy for a growing body. The most favorable time for a family holiday in Greece is during the velvet season.

Although the entertainment infrastructure of Greek hotels is significantly inferior to Turkish ones, at a family resort you can always find everything you need for your child, from a children's menu to children's animation, playgrounds and babysitting services at the hotel.

When choosing a resort in Greece, pay attention to islands such as Rhodes, Crete, Kos, Kerkyra (Corfu), which have a well-developed infrastructure and a large selection of hotels for families with children.

On the mainland, take a closer look at Halkidiki (the regions of Kassandra and Sithonia are especially popular for children's holidays), cities on the Peloponnese coast, famous for their clean beaches and shallow sea.

Croatia

The Adriatic Sea off the coast of Croatia is considered one of the cleanest in the world, and Croatia itself is one of the most environmentally friendly countries. Croatian resorts are distinguished by an abundance of greenery, which often serves as a natural cover from the sun on the beaches.

There are many nature reserves and parks here, and four thousand kilometers of coastline are strewn with pine needles and picturesque bays.

The climate of the country is similar to ours, thanks to which the child will feel comfortable on vacation. For holidays with children, we recommend considering the resorts of Northern and Central Dalmatia (Sibenik, Vodice, Brela, Baska Voda, Tucepi, Makarska), and the resort towns of Istria.

Holidays in Dubrovnik (Southern Dalmatia) are suitable for those families who plan to combine a vacation on the beach with a rich excursion program.

Bulgaria

Almost all of us associate Bulgaria with childhood holidays. This country has a favorable climate with no sweltering heat (in summer the air temperature reaches 25–27 degrees), wide sandy beaches with warm sea, a developed network of hotels for families with children, and delicious and healthy cuisine.

Beach Bulgaria is also popular due to its wide opportunities for a budget, but at the same time quality holiday. Many mothers come here with their babies for a long period.

Spain

After the easing of the visa regime, Spain is becoming increasingly popular for family holidays among our compatriots. The tourist season in Spain begins in late spring and continues until early autumn.

It’s not for nothing that this country is called Sunny - summer here is always pampered with an abundance of sun and warm, comfortable temperatures (the air warms up to 28 degrees, and the water up to +26).

This climate is, of course, very suitable for holidays with small children. By the way, the resorts of Spain have long been among the most popular for family holidays among Europeans.

The beaches here are varied: sandy and pebble, mainland and island, located in a closed bay or open. But almost all of them can boast of having a “Blue Flag”, confirming the environmental friendliness of the resort.

When planning a trip to Spain with children, pay attention to resorts such as the Costa Brava with its small cozy fine sandy beaches, sheltered by rocks from the wind and waves, or, for example, the Costa Dorada with sandy golden beaches and shallow sea.

Also take a closer look at one of the youngest resorts in Spain - Costa de Almeria with its ideal family holiday town of Roquetas de Mar. This resort is part of the famous Spanish autonomy of Andalusia.

Here you will find long beaches with cozy coves and nature reserves. Another great option for a holiday with a baby is the island of Tenerife, part of the Canary archipelago.

It is called the island of eternal spring due to its even and favorable climate. For children, a holiday in Spain is also an opportunity to visit the grand amusement parks for which this country is famous.

Just look at the famous Port Aventura, a theme park from Universal Studios. Water parks deserve special attention - there are several of them in every Spanish resort and they all offer a wide selection of water activities for children and adults.

Cyprus

The entire tourist business system of the island is built in such a way that families with children feel welcome here. Cypriots are very friendly and hospitable, especially towards children.

Beautiful beaches, water parks, children's animation, mini clubs, playgrounds with sandboxes and swings - all this makes a child's holiday in Cyprus unforgettable!

It is worth noting that the hottest period in Cyprus lasts from June to September, the air temperature at this time often reaches 40 degrees. So the best period for the trip would be May-June or September-October. Paphos, Ayia Napa, Larnaca, and Limassol are considered good resorts for family holidays.

Egypt

at sea with a baby: 7 countries for a great holiday photo 8

One of the reasons for the popularity of Egyptian resorts for family holidays is good living conditions at reasonable prices. Many hotels in Egypt provide various discounts on children's accommodation or even accommodate them for free.

As a rule, most hotels have a developed infrastructure aimed at children's recreation: mini-water parks with a variety of water activities, animators, playrooms, playgrounds and mini-clubs.

For a holiday with a child, you can choose one of the hotels in Hurghada (a good selection of hotels with children's programs, sandy beaches with a gentle slope), Sharm El-Sheikh (the opportunity to explore the rich underwater world and coral reefs), El Gouna (picturesque lagoons with sandy beaches) or Makadi Bay (one of the most respectable resorts for a secluded and relaxing holiday).

We hope that our advice on where is the best place to go to the sea with a child and a brief overview of countries will help you at least a little orient yourself in the variety of offers that exist on the market today, and you will choose a country that will make your first vacation abroad with children at sea wonderful and unforgettable.

Set the mode

There are several requirements here. Firstly, we all understand that on vacation we go beyond the sea and the sun. In order not to get sunburned in the first days and to get maximum benefits and pleasure, it is better to spend the morning and evening on the beach. We were at sea in the morning from 09:00 to 11:30 and in the evening from 17:00 to 20:00.

Secondly, the children’s daily routine should be synchronous or almost synchronous. It is clear that the younger one sleeps more often, but the older one only has one sleep break. But a quiet hour should be a must - so that the children can rest and not be capricious, and the mother can have free time. Therefore, on vacation, I began to additionally feed and re-rock my youngest after lunch - this way I extended his sleep from one and a half to 2.5–3 hours in a row.

Beach activities for children

8. The specificity of exotic seas, for example the Red Sea in Egypt, is the abundance and diversity of marine life. It is best for a child aged 1 to 4 years to get acquainted with them during an excursion on a pleasure “submarine”. After 5 years, a child can safely be offered a mask and fins. Snorkeling (swimming with a mask and fins) has three dangers.

  • First: if a child does not just swim on the surface, but dives under water, then due to changes in pressure his ears may become blocked. You can get rid of the unpleasant sensation by pinching your nose and exhaling sharply, or by making chewing movements with your jaw. The main thing is not to overdo it - at the slightest pain in the ears, you need to reduce the depth of the dives or abandon them altogether. If discomfort does not go away on shore, consult a doctor.
  • Second: sea creatures. The main requirement is not to touch anyone or anything with your hands, much less lift it from the bottom. This is especially true for children because, having seen a brightly colored mollusk and crustacean, they immediately strive to take possession of it. But the most beautiful inhabitants of the sea are, as a rule, the most dangerous. In addition to the animals themselves, for little explorers of the depths, the marine police available in some countries pose a certain danger, which vigilantly monitors the observance of the rights of aquatic inhabitants and mercilessly fines violators of their peace.
  • Third: again the sun. Since the underwater world is often literally mesmerizing, kids are so keen on studying it that they swim on the water surface for almost hours, exposing their backs to the sun’s rays. As a result, a lot of snorkeling experiences are ruined by a serious burn. To avoid this, an important addition to the mask and fins will be a long T-shirt that covers the buttocks.

9. It should also be said that the seabed in front of the shoal beaches is usually cleaned, and the likelihood of stepping on, say, a sea urchin there is low. But it increases greatly on municipal and wild beaches, as well as at night. This is also why, if you arrive late in the evening, you should not immediately run headlong to swim, much less allow children to do this until the beach area has been explored in daylight. After all, your hotel may have a “home” coral reef, and night is the time when its inhabitants are active.

Developed the menu

Here it is worth understanding what is important to you. For me, for example, it was important to eat simple local food and spend a minimum of time preparing it. In the morning I prepared breakfast and mashed potatoes for Leva. After the first trip to the sea there was lunch, which I usually finished in half an hour. Our daily diet looked something like this:

Breakfast: rolled oats with peaches, yoghurts and curds, boiled eggs or omelet, sandwiches with cheese, tomato and salad.

Lunch: simple side dishes, grilled fish, chicken breasts, beef sausages or soup.

Dinner: Finished lunch or snack.

In Leva’s apartment there was no baby chair in which to feed him - he constantly ran away from me and smeared puree on the table, the floor, his things, me and the dishes. Therefore, at home I fed him milk, and took the puree to the sea. There the son sat in a stroller, looked around and ate. At the same time, the people around him began to smile, play peek-a-boo with him, and distract him. It was convenient and fun.

I also liked using a thermal bag, which we filled with fruit and took to the sea. Leva’s puree was placed there directly in a blender jar, which came with a lid. For Leo, such a cool thing as a nibbler turned out to be very useful - a special mesh where fruits cut into pieces, for example, are placed. The child gnaws it, the juice and pulp fall into the mouth, and the bones and skins remain in the net. I ordered Nibbler on AliExpress - it turned out to be five times cheaper than in children's stores.

Rules for staying on the beach

Everyone goes to the sea for health improvement and new experiences. To prevent the opposite from happening, try to come to the beach early in the morning and leave after 11 o’clock in the afternoon. After all, it is at noon that the period of active solstice begins, and the rays at this time are especially burning and harmful. You can have lunch and feed your baby, and then go to your room for an afternoon nap, after which you can safely go for a swim.

Before leaving the hotel, you need to apply sunscreen to your child. On the shore, he must always wear a Panama hat, even when swimming in the sea. If the baby is digging in the sand, then it is better to put a light T-shirt on him - it will protect him from burns.

Also, do not be alarmed if in the first days of rest the child begins to feel worse: poor health is associated with adaptation to new climatic conditions. The further you travel from your hometown, the more intense the acclimatization becomes.

Pediatricians recommend vacationing at sea with children for at least a month. This way, children have time to acclimatize and get the maximum benefit from their vacation.

I combined trips to the sea with my youngest child’s sleep

Leva was usually already tired by the time we arrived at the beach. I fed him, rocked him in the stroller, and he fell asleep. This gave me about half an hour, which I devoted to swimming on my own or playing in the water with Sofia. Of course, I had to swim close to the shore and constantly be in eye contact with the child. That's why we came to the beach early, when there was no one there yet - the main flow of people comes at 11 am, and at that time we were already getting ready to go home.

Another way to swim if the children suddenly do not sleep is to load them into the boat, and push it and swim. In our case, this worked despite Leva’s activity. I put my son in the boat, lay down on it with my arms and chest, held him with my hands and rowed him with my feet in the water. I poured water into the boat and took rattles - this made it stable, and my son had fun.

With a baby at sea: 12 valuable tips

Experience-tested recommendations for a child’s adaptation to the sea, solving problems with children’s kitchens and sun protection. The most important thing is not to be afraid!

Anna Zhulidova: I am, of course, about the same as my dancing, plump, one-and-a-half-year-old daughter, a ballerina, as an advisor for holidays with a child. My child and I flew on vacation only once. Although in the summer we spent a lot of time at dachas and beaches - this is also a vacation, albeit a local one. So I still have some experience. And I collected a lot of information. So I hasten to share.

1. First and most importantly - don’t be afraid. Don’t be afraid to relax with your child on local beaches, tourist centers, on distant islands, in exotic countries. Do what you would do without him. If you want to go, definitely go. A child is a kind of addition, he is a member of your family, he came to your family and lives with you, and lives by the rules and in the way that the whole family lives. If you are not afraid or worried, the child takes rest as a matter of course and easily tolerates it. I have seen and know many people vacationing with newborn children, flying with them to different countries, I even know those who hitchhiked with their children to China. After this, our comfortable stay in a hotel and a night at the airport does not seem very difficult to me. In fact, the child does not need so much: for the mother to be nearby, and everything else can be solved. Therefore, my answer to the question “should I go on vacation with a small child?” - Of course, go.

2. If you are still afraid, no one should go. The most disgusting thing a mother who dreams of a vacation, but is afraid to take her baby with her, can do is leave him with his grandmother. Or someone else. You should not do this under any circumstances until... I would say, until adolescence, and then only if your teenager himself does not want to fly with you. In all other situations, either the child flies with you or no one flies. Because you are a family, you have the same rules and the same way of life.

3. GW will help you. As in all other contexts, breastfeeding turns out to be an indispensable thing for trips, trips and even trips to the beach. Breastfeeding will help your baby during takeoff and landing - my daughter was breastfeeding and didn’t even notice any stuffing in her ears. GW is an excellent source of quenching thirst and hunger, no matter where you are (and keep the only bottle of water that you are allowed to take with you on the plane). GW is a high degree of guarantee that a child can easily cope with the exotic cuisine of another country, protection against infections, support of immunity and assistance in adaptation to the climate.

4. Pedagogical feeding will save you from problems with the children's kitchen. Feed pedagogically. And you won’t need to carry purees with you when traveling, and look for cereals and juices on the spot. Both in another country and here, at dachas and beaches, my daughter eats absolutely the same thing that we eat - from our own plates. Plus he sucks. And we don’t know of any problems with juices and purees.

5. Co-sleeping is a solution to the crib problem. There’s not even anything to add here. Just sleep together, and you won’t need additional facilities either in hotel rooms, or at dachas, camp sites or anywhere else.

6. A sling is more comfortable than a stroller. Late at night we woke up our daughter and took her to the airport. Little Maya did not understand at all what was happening, and already at the entrance to the airport she began to cry. We got out of the car, I wrapped her in a sling, where she happily latched on and just as happily fell asleep. Then we checked in, waited for boarding, walked around the airport, checked in our luggage - the child slept like a baby. That’s how we boarded the plane, that’s how she slept on me, that’s how we arrived, that’s how we received our luggage. The sling turned out to be an indispensable thing when traveling. We climbed tall towers and mountains with Maya behind us, were mobile and fast, walked around the cities, looked at the surroundings. We covered ourselves with a sling during a lunchtime nap on the beach. In the evening we went for a walk to the night sea: romance, the beach, the coast, palm trees, we are hand in hand, and the protruding little legs of our daughter snoring peacefully on her chest. And I coquettishly keep silent about the beauty of the silks and linens of our slings-scarves of different compositions and colors sparkling in the sun, selected to match my outfits. On local trips, a sling for me is a guarantee that the child will definitely sleep during the day. Even if the conditions don’t allow it at all, I wrap my daughter around me and we go for a walk in the forest. Naturally, the baby, exhausted from the beach, falls asleep, smacking his lips. And I, happy, walk barefoot for a couple of hours and breathe clean air. A sling when traveling is convenience and mobility. And there is no bulkiness, and there is no stroller that would need to be checked in as luggage, somehow put into the car, folded and unfolded, brr. Anticipating the most frequently asked question, I’ll say: no, it’s not hot in a sling in the summer, you just need to choose the right one and wind it correctly. For the summer, choose slings with rings made of scarf fabric, scarves or scarves - thin, well-ventilated, with silk, bamboo, flax, and hemp. Stick to single-layer wraps: a backpack, a cross over a pocket with lowered or twisted sheets. Do not dress your baby in anything under the sling in hot weather.

7. Sun and insect protection products must be natural. In the summer, children absorb a lot of harmful chemicals to escape the sun and mosquitoes. Don’t be lazy, read about existing protection factors: chemical and physical. Chemical ones are very harmful, physical ones are safe. Take your time and find natural remedies that would protect your child “from mosquitoes and the sun” without causing harm - they exist.

8. Take your usual medications and your doctor's phone number with you . Even if you are staying in a good hotel, your personal doctor back home knows your child better. Another thing is that the hotel doctor has the opportunity to examine the child, but you can always listen to the advice of both sides in order to make your own decision. Your child will not necessarily get sick, but it is still advisable to have his usual medications with him. We choose homeopathy and took our liquids and peas with us. I must say that they were not useful to us. At the pharmacy, I simply cannot help but remind you that in case of poisoning and infections, which so often happen in foreign countries, the best way to avoid dehydration and recover faster, of course, is breastfeeding.

9. Let your baby interact with nature . Let him sit on the sand. Let him pick up stones from the floor and pluck plants. Let him smell and touch everything. Let him study, don't stop him. A child is terribly interested in learning, feeling, hearing, feeling - don’t deprive him of this. You already know this all around, but he sees it for the first time. So let him gain experience. There is nothing wrong with a child eating a little sand from a clean beach. My daughter ate tons of it, then putting those tons into the pot, but now she’s indifferent to sand. She studied and understood what sand is, and now she just plays with it. Let the child lie naked, let him run barefoot, let him go into the water and spend as much time there as he wants. He really won’t get anything from this except joy and experience. And don’t stand like an owl over him, give him the opportunity to get used to it himself. During our vacation, Maya splashed around in the river on the beach. The beach is rocky, there are a lot of stones, but not just stones, there is a lot of sand. When Maya ran into the water, some grandmother looked disapprovingly in my direction, stood up and began removing stones next to Maya, who was running back and forth, saying, “Otherwise you will fall.” “It won’t fall,” I answered. And she really didn’t fall even once during the more than two hours we spent there. Because I have never removed stones from under her feet before, she knows how to walk around them, spreading her legs wide apart. And even if she fell, she would sit on her butt - she knows how to fall lightly, I have never caught her. And I don't have to run after her along the beach. You won’t believe it: I’m lying and sunbathing, and my daughter is splashing by the water alone. She doesn’t go into the water more than knee-deep by herself - I don’t know why, I never forbade her. I just lie there and watch her play. And sometimes she runs up to me to suckle my breast, or just giggle about something.

10. No need for circles and vests. Let the child learn to swim. Circles and vests do for the baby what he could learn if you took it all off him - to float on the water. In all this inflated equipment, it is very difficult to understand what movements with your legs and arms you need to make, what position to set your body in order to stay on the water, in order to swim. And without circles, the child gains invaluable experience in controlling his own body in the water. And one more thing: don’t drag him into the water by force. If he doesn’t want to come in, it means he’s not ready yet, respect that. You wouldn’t drag an adult by force to where he refuses to go. A child is also a person, although not an adult, and he himself decides when it’s time. My daughter spent her first days at sea sitting in the sand far from the water. She just wasn't even interested in water at all. Any attempts to spray her were perceived sharply negatively. Then she started to get closer. Every day she came closer and closer to the water, once she touched it with her foot, once she lingered, once she was carried away by a wave, etc. After some time, it was simply impossible not to pull her out of the water when we were on the beach. However, we don’t pull it out. Do not drag - this applies to crawling and erect walkers. But with a newborn baby you can go into the sea in your arms. Or in an aquasling - a sling designed for swimming. And, again, there is no need to be afraid: hundreds of mothers give birth in the sea, hundreds dive with their children.

11. Do everything slowly, gradually . To ensure that acclimatization goes smoothly and that stress for the child due to a large number of new sensations does not become a blow to his well-being, get used to the rest gradually. Don’t rush to run to the sea straight from the plane - calmly check in, lay out your things, take a shower, let your child get comfortable in the room first, show him where he will sleep, wash, etc. Then walk a little around your home, make short forays, smoothly and carefully introduce the child to both the new area and new food. It will be difficult for a small stomach to digest a lot of new food at once, and it will be difficult for a small person to digest many new impressions at once.

12. Be prepared for change. On vacation, your child will absorb new impressions like a sponge: everything he saw, touched, heard, tasted, felt, smelled. This is just a huge amount of information for the baby, and he has to digest it. He will really need you to digest it. Therefore, do not be surprised if your child, having become comfortable on vacation, studies everything, running away from you, not paying attention to you, and then, at home, suddenly sticks to you as in infancy. He has gained a lot of new things that he needs to learn. As if he had eaten a lot of new foods - now he needs to digest. And you are needed for this. Immediately after the rest, stay at home with your baby, close and closely, for several days. Carry him in your arms more often, give him breastfeeding more often, hug, kiss, be close to him. A child who demands you a lot and often will be grateful later. This crisis, like any other, will pass, but the new growth will remain - your child will suddenly become older, more mature. Take a closer look and you will see a noticeable leap in the development of your child. This is what he picked up on vacation, digested, assimilated and makes itself felt. In conclusion, I want to say that vacationing with a child is a wonderful thing. I fell in love with this process and want to do it again and again. And I don’t want any more comfortable hotels that limit my contact with the country, admiring it. I want to relax in the country, not in a hotel. Our plans include the islands from the Bounty advertisement, where we ourselves will fly, a savage.
