The most important thing is that it is strong enough and has rigid walls. Start making a rattle with a rattling element. Pour filler inside the selected container and evaluate the musical properties of your future craft. The sound can be changed and adjusted depending on the amount and shape of the filler. As additional materials you will need pieces of fabric or yarn, threads and auxiliary tools for sewing or knitting.

Knitted octopuses

Creating wonderful and cute octopuses, as in the photo above, takes little time and will not take more than three evenings. It all depends on the skills of the needlewoman.

To work you will need:

When we reach the narrowing of the egg, we begin to reduce the number of loops, but leave a hole so that later we can insert a capsule with filler. Now you need to sew on button eyes, insert an egg and sew up the bottom part.

A simple “rattle” from a plastic bottle

You can make very simple and beautiful rattles with your own hands from small plastic bottles and jars. Glass vessels are not suitable due to their fragility.
